I have lots of thoughts that I wish to inflict upon the world; some of them defy my chosen method of categorization. So this is where I put them—the time-out corner for thoughts who don’t want to play nice and get along with everything else going on in my head.
A Wild God Comes to Table
Tom Hirons’ poem “Sometimes a Wild God” offers a view into the primeval urges of humanity and our ambivalent relationship to them. In my response to his poem, I explore my struggle with the wildest of man’s gods: children.
